About the role
PulsePoint is a post-acquisition, profitable company of 300+ people at the intersection of healthcare and adtech, and a leading player in the US healthcare ad market. They are hiring an AI Engineer for the Core Engineering team behind the PulsePoint Exchange and Life Advertising platform, which handles hundreds of thousands of transactions per second.
You will design, develop, and maintain LLM-based components that improve internal efficiency and user-facing communications, from data retrieval to chat interfaces. The role involves evaluating new frameworks and architectures, improving data infrastructure for LLM usage, and partnering with analysts, engineers, and user-facing teams. Requirements include Python with numpy and pandas, solid SQL, TDD principles, and strong ownership. Experience with LLM inference, embeddings, VectorDBs, Kubernetes, and Java is a plus.
