Data Engineer - fully remote within Europe (m/f/d) at JobLeads
This is a core data engineering role focused on owning the operational health of a Microsoft SQL Server based data platform. You will split your time between keeping the platform running reliably and improving it, modelling new source domains, building automated data quality gates, tuning slow SQL, and maintaining Airflow orchestration across Windows and Linux VMs. The team builds heavily with AI tooling including Claude Code and MCP servers, and this role acts as the verification layer for AI-assisted work before it reaches production. The position requires 3+ years of production data engineering experience, deep T-SQL optimization skills, strong Python and Airflow, and hands-on experience with agentic coding tools paired with the rigour to validate their output.
