About the role
Leroy Merlin Italia, part of the Adeo group, is hiring a Data Engineer to help evolve its new Data Platform on an entirely cloud-based architecture. The role sits at the intersection of data engineering and applied AI: you will design and build scalable pipelines for large-volume ingestion, prepare infrastructure for Generative AI and LLM use cases, and develop complex automation flows using modern orchestration tools such as n8n, including writing AI Agents to automate operational and decision-making processes.
You will also rewrite or create data management processes from scratch to maximise computational efficiency and reduce operating costs with a FinOps mindset, and implement systems that guarantee compliance, quality, integrity and traceability.
