    About the role

Ruby Labs is hiring a Data Engineer focused on marketing systems to own data engineering tasks, integrations, and tracking infrastructure across its consumer products in health, education, and entertainment. The core stack is Python, SQL, and Bash, with required experience in Google Tag Manager, pixel and conversion setup, and JavaScript. You will work with marketing data sources across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Bing Ads, moving and transforming data through BigQuery, GCS, Pub/Sub, and ClickHouse.

This is explicitly not a junior learning role. The team needs someone who can understand production systems quickly, troubleshoot pipeline, tracking, and payment data issues independently, and deliver reliable work while collaborating with Data, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Billing teams. The position is remote and open to applicants in any country within roughly ±4 hours of CET, which includes Italy. Note.

    Highlights

    • Fully remote, open to any country within ±4 hours of CET
    • Own marketing data pipelines across BigQuery, ClickHouse, Airbyte, and Airflow
    • Growth exposure to GCP, dbt, DataOps, CI/CD, and observability platforms
    • Unlimited PTO, paid national holidays, and company-provided MacBook
