About the role
Exfold is hiring a Data Platform Engineer on a contract basis to help scale its SaaS platform as customer and data volumes grow. You will work on pipelines that turn raw API-delivered data into enhanced datasets used by analysts and data scientists, with a remit spanning both pipeline development and data model design.
The role sits on an AWS-based data platform. Day to day you will help design and drive implementation of that platform, build and operate streaming and batch pipelines that scale, and partner with engineers and analysts to produce datasets that are reliable, understandable, and reusable across the company. The team is distributed, with meetings that cross into U.S. time zones, so comfort working asynchronously.
