About the role
BCG X, the technology and design arm of Boston Consulting Group, is hiring a Forward Deployed AI Scientist in Milan. The team owns the full analytics value chain, from framing business challenges and designing algorithms to deploying scalable AI solutions and helping clients adopt them. You will work across industries and regions, including topics such as climate change, and contribute to thought leadership, papers, and conferences.
The role suits intellectually curious builders who enjoy client-facing work and can explain sophisticated data science concepts clearly. You will need a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field, plus strong Python skills and significant experience applying advanced analytics and modern machine learning to business problems. Fluency in Italian and English.
