About the role
DotWorld is a venture builder and SaaS studio building an in-house data department, and this Junior Data Engineer role is the department's first hire. You will report to the Head of Data and work directly on growing the Data Warehouse, consolidating payment and product data, and modeling payment flows so the group has reliable data for reporting and decision-making. The pipelines you build will support customer LTV calculations, target CPA definitions, and advertising spend decisions.
This is a hands-on build role rather than a maintenance position. You will gather business needs from payment and product teams, develop ETL/ELT integrations, model raw data into fact and dimension tables, automate processing with Python, build dashboards, and implement data validation tests. The environment is early-stage, with few existing processes or standards, so autonomy and comfort with ambiguity matter.
