About the role
Poolside is hiring a Member of Engineering (Data & Analytics) to work on its Model Factory, the platform behind its model research efforts. The role centers on building and operating the data and analytics systems that support experiments at scale, including an agent trajectory store, experiment configuration registry, and experiment metrics. You will own the full data lifecycle, from modelling and ingestion through retrieval, query, analysis, and retention, while partnering directly with researchers to understand their workflows and improve the tools they rely on.
The position is fully remote with flexible hours, and Poolside's team is distributed across Europe and North America, with monthly in-person gatherings in Paris. Candidates should bring strong programming skills in Go or Python, proven experience with distributed systems at scale, and production experience with Kubernetes.
