About the role
Tem is rebuilding energy transaction infrastructure with its AI-native platform Rosso, which replaces traditional trading desks by forecasting prices and volumes, optimising quotes, and autonomously managing hedging. Backed by a $75 million Series B led by Lightspeed, the company already serves 2% of the UK market and is scaling internationally.
As Principal Machine Learning Engineer for Revenue Optimisation, you will own pricing ML within Rosso as a hands-on senior individual contributor. You will formulate the pricing problem mathematically, choosing between stochastic programming, reinforcement learning, classical ML, or hybrids, then build and ship production-grade models end to end. The role demands deep experience in pricing or real-time decision-making systems, strong probabilistic modelling foundations, and the communication skills to align commercial, product, and engineering stakeholders.

- Fully remote across Europe with clear core hours and no Friday afternoon meetings
- Salary of £150,000 or local currency equivalent, plus stock options
- £1,200/€1,200 annual home setup budget and monthly wellbeing allowance
