About the role
Talentware, a startup founded in 2023 within Bain & Company's Venture Studio, is hiring a Senior AI Engineer in Milan on a hybrid basis with at least two days per week on site. The company has raised 5 million euros and serves enterprise clients across Europe with an AI-native platform for mapping, developing and valuing workforce skills.
You will act as the technical reference on AI, owning one or more core AI assets. The work covers production-grade AI architectures, multi-agent systems with tool usage, memory and orchestration, prompt engineering, model selection and retrieval optimisation, plus MLOps standards for reproducibility, automation and observability. You will also do code review and coach senior and mid-level colleagues, collaborating with the CTO, AI PM and product teams.
