About the role
team.blue is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for its Data & Analytics team across a 60+ brand hosting and SaaS group that serves 3.5 million customers in Europe. The role is based in Florence (also Gent, Berlin, Crete, Barcelona) and is fully remote, with a hybrid of people leadership and delivery.
You line-manage two data scientists: objectives, 1:1s, coaching, backlog, and stakeholder no's. You also stay in the code, owning the hardest models and reviewing the team's work. Scope covers ML, predictive modeling, stats, visualization, and improving the data science pipeline. They want 5+ years in data science including 3+ years as a lead, plus Python (or R/Scala), SQL, scikit-learn or TensorFlow, and cloud (AWS or Azure) / Spark.
