About the role
Constructor, an AI-first ecommerce search and discovery platform launched in 2019, is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for its Search Quality team. The role centers on measuring and improving search relevance for global retailers spanning fashion, grocery, electronics, and hardware, serving hundreds of millions of users. You will fine-tune LLMs for relevance judgment, build real-time reranking and filtering systems under strict latency constraints, and run deep offline analysis of query logs to catch quality degradations before users notice.
The work spans 40+ languages and 20+ domains, requiring models that generalize without per-customer rules. You will also build automated monitoring pipelines and agent-based systems that generate actionable recommendations for product data and search configurations.
