Senior Manager, Product Data Science

Snowflake is hiring a Senior Manager to lead its App Experience and Marketplace Data Science team inside the Product organization.

The team supports two areas. App experience covers the UI, the growth platform, and the analyst, admin, and data engineer tooling that customers use to run billions of SQL queries, deploy Python, and reach Snowflake's AI features. The data marketplace side makes third party datasets available with a click instead of a sales call and a custom API integration. Both touch very large datasets across data engineering, analytics, statistics, and machine learning.

This is a player coach role. You manage the team and stay hands on as tech lead, building POCs for AI-driven features, validating the accuracy of AI-powered analysis, and setting guardrails for how the team uses generative AI. Expect heavy interaction with product managers, engineering managers, and senior leadership.

What stands out is the mandate to push the team toward AI-native deliverables (agentic services, semantic views, AI evaluation) rather than work that can be automated away.
