About the role
Twilio is hiring a Staff Business Intelligence Engineer on its Enterprise Data team, the group that builds the analytical foundation the whole company runs on, from Finance to Sales to Marketing to Support.
You own and evolve Twilio's suite of BI tools, driving governance, performance and the long-term roadmap. You design scalable, reusable dashboards that surface actionable insights for legal, billing operations and other mission-critical functions. A notable slice of the role is architecting agentic-AI solutions that enable natural-language querying, automated insight generation and self-service analytics for non-technical business partners. Expect semantic-layer design, metric definitions and data-access governance, plus close partnership with data and ML engineers.
Twilio is US-HQ and remote-first; this role is bucketed US remote.
What stands out is the agentic-AI angle layered on top of a classic BI platform role, so it sits between traditional analytics and the LLM-driven self-service future.
