About the role
Yuno is hiring a Staff Engineer for its Data Platform to own the architecture behind a payments system that processes high-volume transactions across 80+ countries. The stack is modern: StarRocks as the analytical layer, Flink for processing, dbt for transformation, and Airflow for orchestration. You will define platform architecture, lead projects end-to-end, and act as the technical reference point for the Data team, setting standards for quality, testing, observability, and data modeling.
The role blends technical leadership with hands-on engineering: building low-latency pipelines for fraud detection, revenue analytics, and regulatory reporting, while owning reliability through SLAs, alerting, and incident response. You will also champion an AI-first engineering culture and mentor senior and mid-level engineers.
