About the role
Spotify is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer for Music Mission, the organization behind creator and fan experiences. Within the DISCO Product Area, this role shapes ML for Discovery Mode and related royalty programs that help artists reach new listeners through Spotify for Artists.
You will set technical direction while staying hands-on: design, evaluate, ship, and refine production ML systems, turn prototypes into scalable product capabilities, and improve experimentation and testing. The work spans engineering, data science, research, product, and design, with mentorship and architectural leadership across the broader ML community. Candidates need deep modeling and evaluation experience plus production systems work at scale.
