About the role
Phantom is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to own growth and engagement ML for its crypto wallet. The company is fully remote, about 180 people, Series C from a16z, Sequoia, and Paradigm.
You will architect production pipelines and real-time decisioning for personalization, notifications, and onboarding, plus LTV, churn, next-best-action, and recommendation models. Staff scope: 8+ years, 3+ as staff, principal, or tech lead, mentoring seniors. Python plus PyTorch, TensorFlow, or XGBoost; Spark, Flink, Kafka; Snowflake or BigQuery; MLflow or SageMaker.
