Sul ruolo
Axmed is hiring an AI Engineer to build autonomous agents for its procurement marketplace, which connects healthcare providers and pharmaceutical suppliers in low- and middle-income countries. This is a production engineering role: the agents will support real sourcing, quoting, order matching, supplier follow-up, and compliance workflows, with human review where automation carries too much risk.
The engineer will own the full lifecycle, from workflow discovery and agent design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration. The work includes instrumenting systems for failures, balancing reliability, cost, and latency, and collaborating with commercial and operations teams to turn their processes into agent specifications. Axmed seeks hands-on experience shipping agents into production and maintaining them using real operational data.
