Lutech is hiring an AI Engineer in Rome to design and deliver solutions built on AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI. You will work on client Digital Transformation projects and funded R&D initiatives, joining multidisciplinary teams that take AI components from requirements gathering through to deployment. The role sits within Lutech's AI, Data and Hyperautomation function.
Day to day, you will build scalable Python applications, services, backends and APIs powered by LLMs, RAG and Agentic AI, integrating them with databases, enterprise systems, document repositories and knowledge bases. You will optimise RAG pipelines, design agentic and multi-agent workflows for retrieval, reasoning and content generation, orchestrate cloud and on-prem LLMs, and monitor quality, performance and cost. The team seeks at least two years of software development experience focused on AI or GenAI, strong Python.
