Deda Next, part of the Deda Group, is hiring a Generative AI Engineer to join its Data & AI area, working on digital transformation for public administration and public service companies. The position is strongly hands-on: you will design, implement and evaluate AI solutions that combine language models, document bases, APIs and external tools, turning ideas or requirements into working prototypes and then into robust, maintainable systems.
Day to day you will build Generative AI solutions based on LLMs, AI agents and RAG architectures, managing the full pipeline from data ingestion and retrieval through to evaluation and performance optimisation. You will integrate LLMs.
Highlights
- At least 3 years with LLMs and Generative AI, including prompt engineering, structured output, agents, tool calling and context management.
- Strong RAG experience: ingestion, preprocessing, chunking, embeddings, semantic and hybrid search, vector databases, reranking and answer quality evaluation.
- Python and REST API development with FastAPI, plus prototyping via HTML/CSS/JavaScript, React, Streamlit or Gradio.
- Nice to have: LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, pgvector, Qdrant, Weaviate, Pinecone, OpenSearch, Docker, cloud AI services, CI/CD and LLM tracing.
