Sul ruolo
IMA Automation is hiring an Industrial AI Engineer in Ozzano Emilia to develop AI applications for automated machines and production lines. The work spans industrial data analysis, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, machine-performance optimization, and computer vision for inspection and quality control. Digital twins and simulation are used to create synthetic data and validate algorithms, while generative AI, LLMs, RAG systems, and AI agents support operators, technicians, and service teams. The engineer will also deploy models and monitor their performance, reliability, and updates in production.
The role asks for a degree in computer science, AI, data science, automation, electronics, or a related discipline, plus Python, machine-learning and deep-learning knowledge, and English. Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, computer vision, LLMs, MLOps, NVIDIA tools, PLCs, or manufacturing is an advantage. The advertised starting gross annual salary is €36,000, with possible increases based on experience and skills.
