Flip is hiring a Lead AI Engineer to take over its AI discipline across three surfaces: Fusion, a multi-agent code-generation system, the Ask AI agent gateway, and Flip Flows automation. You will own the how, meaning architecture, standards and technical direction, while leading and growing a team of three AI engineers. Roughly 70 percent of your time stays hands-on in code, focused on the hardest problems in multi-agent orchestration, reliability and cost effectiveness.
The stack centres on Python, pydantic-ai for orchestration, qdrant for vector search, Azure AI for models, deployed on Kubernetes into a mostly JVM-based (Kotlin, Micronaut) and Go backend.
