Sul ruolo
Blackwall is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to work with its Head of AI on two AI initiatives: embedding AI into a Web Application Firewall and powering behavioural analysis across the Blackwall server to detect and mitigate bot-driven threats. The position is full-time on a contract basis, remote within Europe, and paid at a rate depending on experience and location.
You will design, train, and deploy models that detect malicious traffic, bots, and anomalies, and build ML pipelines for data collection, training, evaluation, and deployment. The stack centres on Python with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn, plus SQL-based data systems. You will integrate models into real-time security systems, improve feature engineering and data quality, monitor production performance, and retrain as threat patterns evolve. The role is cross-functional, touching data science, software engineering, and security.
Highlights
- Work directly with the Head of AI on WAF and behavioural analytics AI
- Own the full ML lifecycle from data pipelines to production monitoring
- Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and SQL-based data systems
- Bonus for security, fraud, bot detection, or real-time high-throughput experience
