Lutech, a major Italian digital and AI group with over 6,000 professionals, is hiring a Data Scientist for its R&D and Innovative Industry Solutions unit in Bari. The role sits at the intersection of applied research and delivery, with a clear emphasis on Machine Learning and Generative AI. You will develop, train and optimise ML models in Python, design and experiment with Generative AI solutions such as LLMs and text or image generation models, and support model deployment in cloud environments. You will also monitor model performance, contribute to continuous improvement, and work alongside technical and business teams on research and development projects across the Group.

The position is open to STEM graduates at the start of their careers, so the requirements focus on foundational.

Highlights

• Build and optimise Machine Learning models in Python using Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch
