Sul ruolo

EY is hiring a Senior AI Engineer in Trieste to design, build and industrialise enterprise Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI solutions. You will work in multidisciplinary teams delivering applications based on Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, AI Agents and cloud AI platforms, from requirements analysis through to monitoring and observability.

The role covers prompt design, agentic workflows, data ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured data, integration of AI services into enterprise applications, and exposure of tools and data through MCP. You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Software Engineers and Solution Architects, and apply Responsible AI, security, governance and compliance principles. Preferred skills include Python, embeddings, prompt engineering, an orchestration framework such as LangGraph or LangChain, RAG pipelines, Tool Calling.

Highlights

Salary range of 28,000 to 35,000 EUR plus an objectives-based bonus.
At least 2 years of experience in AI Engineering, Software Engineering or Data & AI.
