Sul ruolo

SEON is hiring a Senior AI and ML Engineer for its AML Search Quality team. The position improves name screening across sanctions, politically exposed persons, and adverse media data. You will own modeling and experimentation from problem definition through production, aiming to reduce missed matches and false positives while making screening quality measurable.

Responsibilities include evaluation datasets, offline and online metrics, real-time scoring approaches, monitoring for drift, production follow-up, and mentoring teammates. The source requests at least five years delivering data science or ML models to production, strong Python, statistics, experiment design, NLP, and SQL. Experience with search databases such as Elasticsearch and a cloud provider, ideally AWS, is relevant. The description explicitly permits the role to be based remotely within the European Union, which includes Italy.
