Sul ruolo
Opinov8 is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to work with an established sports-tech product company. The client's mobile application lets users record short performance exercises that are processed with AI-based computer vision to produce objective metrics and rankings, connecting end users with organizations that need data-driven talent insights. You will own core data models for users, events and performance, design and operate production-grade pipelines, and establish a single source of truth for business and product metrics. The role also covers structuring data for retention, funnel and activation analysis, building data services on AWS, and making pragmatic storage, processing and access decisions.
This is a hands-on engineering position rather than a reporting role. You will write clean, maintainable Python, evaluate tools such as BigQuery, Snowflake or Databricks where they add value, and keep architecture.
