Chiesi is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to build and deploy data science, machine learning, AI, and generative AI solutions for Clinical Development. The work spans the drug development lifecycle, using clinical trial, real-world, and digital health data to improve decisions, trial operations, evidence generation, and patient focused research. Application areas include protocol optimization, synthetic control arms, trial performance forecasting, digital biomarkers, and AI tools for clinical research.
The role partners with Clinical Development and Digital teams, translating scientific and operational challenges into robust analytical solutions and advising stakeholders on opportunities for advanced analytics. Candidates need strong Python or R, statistical modeling and machine learning skills, experience deploying models, and practical knowledge of clinical research, clinical trial data, or real-world evidence. A Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant quantitative discipline is required. The position is based at.
