GRID is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to lead research, design, and continuous improvement of real-time prediction models for competitive esports including CS2, Dota 2, and League of Legends. The models power live betting markets, producing continuously updated win probabilities, handicap lines, over/under totals, and specialty markets during matches. You will own the math, statistical logic, and feature engineering that keep these models accurate and profitable.
The role spans high-frequency data problems, rigorous backtesting frameworks, and bridging theoretical research into live product features. You will design and optimise ML models and statistical frameworks, extract predictive signals from raw esports telemetry, focus on probability calibration, and develop the mathematical rules that translate baseline win probabilities into derivative markets. You will also ensure models are deployed.
