Uberall is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own the JVM platform that internal engineering teams build on, with a specific focus on making it easy to ship LLM-powered agents. The team, internally called BASE, is turning reusable libraries, Spring Boot starters, templates, and shared building blocks into a platform purpose-built for agentic systems. You will make foundational design decisions, set patterns and standards, and raise the bar for everyone building on top.
The work spans message routing, tool and capability exposure, state and memory handling, human-in-the-loop workflows, MCP integration, and evaluation and guardrail hooks. You do not need to arrive as an agent expert, but you must be genuinely interested in learning the concepts and providing reusable solutions in that field over the long run. This.
