Sul ruolo
Marsh is hiring a Lead Engineer for the Vulcan Platform Team to shape and deliver cloud-native data platform capabilities. The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, using AWS and Databricks or comparable lakehouse technologies to support scalable, secure, governed data products.
The lead will guide and mentor engineers, set engineering standards, and make architecture and delivery decisions with product, security, architecture, and business partners. Responsibilities include building reusable platform services and data pipelines, improving observability and operational reliability, and embedding automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cost control. The posting describes Marsh’s hybrid approach: colleagues are expected to work in their local office or with clients onsite at least three days per week.
