Sul ruolo
JUPUS, an AI legal tech company serving hundreds of law firms across Europe, is hiring a Staff Data Engineer to take technical ownership of the data platform behind how the business is run. You will report to the Head of Engineering and work alongside a business-facing data colleague plus infrastructure and application engineers. This is a senior individual contributor role with no line management, split roughly 70 percent hands-on building and 30 percent defining, documenting and explaining.
The platform already exists in production: ClickHouse, dbt, Python extract-load pipelines into an S3 data lake, and orchestration in GitHub Actions. The mandate is to make it trustworthy, modernising what exists, ensuring historical trends reflect what.
Highlights
- Own a business-critical metric end to end, definition included, not just the pipeline that feeds it
- ClickHouse and dbt already in production, with real problems to solve rather than a greenfield build
- Flat structure with a direct line to the Head of Engineering, CTO and CEO
- Fully remote within CET plus or minus two, with a MacBook and Urban Sports Club membership
