About the role
Intuition Machines is offering 10 fellowships for its 2027 term, lasting six or 12 months. Fellows will focus on frontier AI/ML research, with interests including model architecture, sample efficiency, explainability, creativity, and applications to online security. The role is designed to provide uninterrupted research time, compute, peers, and weekly one-to-one mentorship from senior researchers.
Around 80% of a fellow’s time is dedicated to independent research, with up to 20% spent assisting other fellows or joining broader research programs. Applicants need public evidence of strong self-directed research; prior fellows have included early career researchers and experienced engineers transitioning into research. The fellowship is remote worldwide, excluding sanctioned jurisdictions, and does not include visa sponsorship. Compensation is a location-adjusted stipend, with conference and travel support for accepted papers.
