About the role
Flipp, now part of a global retail promotions group following its 2024 merger with Shopfully, is hiring an AI Architect for its Finance organization. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Strategic Transformation, focused on designing and shipping production-grade AI systems that reshape how finance works. You will partner with FP&A, Accounting, and Treasury teams to translate complex finance problems into pragmatic technical solutions.
The work centers on agentic AI and intelligent automation. You will architect multi-agent orchestration systems with guardrails, evaluations, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and define standards for prompt engineering, tool integration, RAG, memory, and agent observability. Alongside this, you will build machine learning models for revenue, expense, cash flow, and driver-based forecasting, moving the organization from spreadsheet-driven planning toward predictive and probabilistic approaches.
