AI & Data Science Leader

Sopra Steria is hiring an AI & Data Science Leader in Rome to lead multidisciplinary teams delivering machine learning and AI solutions for enterprise clients. The role combines hands-on technical direction with responsibility for AI architecture, project coordination, and the adoption of predictive models and large language models.

The leader will define AI and generative AI roadmaps, oversee machine learning, deep learning, and LLM solutions, and help take them into production through MLOps and LLMOps. The position also includes customer and business stakeholder collaboration, presales and proposal work, and coaching team members. The stated salary range is €55,000 to €65,000 gross annually. Smart working may be available under company policy, depending on the work, and the role requires national and international travel.
