About the role
NewRocket is hiring an early-career AI Engineer to help build and deploy AI-enabled applications for enterprise clients. The work includes Claude and other LLM integrations, agentic workflows, RAG, workflow automation, and connections to ServiceNow and enterprise data. You will contribute across the solution lifecycle, from prototypes and proofs of concept through production rollout, monitoring, and improvement, alongside engineers, data scientists, product teams, and consultants.
The role also supports document ingestion, embeddings and retrieval, evaluation datasets, and testing for accuracy, groundedness, reliability, safety, latency, and cost. You will help apply safeguards for privacy, authorized data use, tool execution, and human review, while documenting solution behavior and findings. Applicants should be pursuing or have recently completed a relevant technical degree and have foundational programming and AI experience; internships, academic projects, research, freelance work, and professional experience count.
