About the role
Certilogo, an eBay company, is hiring an AI Engineer to turn AI opportunities into product features for product authentication and digital product experiences. The role spans problem framing, data exploration, experimentation, validation and production deployment. You will develop machine learning and computer vision solutions for use cases such as authentication and fraud detection, and evaluate multimodal models, embeddings and generative AI where they can add value.
Working with product, engineering, UX, data and innovation teams, you will build evaluation practices and production AI components with attention to reliability, scalability, latency and cost. The position is based in Milan with three days per week in the office. Applicants should bring at least four years of hands-on experience designing, developing and deploying ML or deep learning solutions, along with Python, modern ML frameworks and production AI or MLOps experience.
