About the role

Gemmo, an AI startup founded in 2020 with an AI Lab in Milan, is hiring AI Engineers across internship and full-time tracks. The team applies machine learning and generative AI to financial services, working on prediction models, document analysis, LLM fine-tuning for conversational interfaces, and insight extraction from large datasets. You will design, build, and maintain CRUD APIs, then deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in Azure and Snowflake. The stack includes Python, SQL, PyTorch, XGBoost, FastAPI, Snowflake, Postgres, Azure, and AWS.

The role is hybrid in Milan with three office days (Tuesday to Thursday) and two flexible days. Internships pay 800 EUR for a Bachelor or 1000 EUR for a Master under a stage contract, with a 3000 EUR relocation bonus, 600 EUR food allowance, and up to 370 EUR monthly travel reimbursement. Full-time compensation is 30000.
