About the role
Lutech is hiring an AI Engineer for its AI, Data and Hyperautomation function, based in Milano and Bergamo with hybrid working. The role sits inside multidisciplinary teams delivering client Digital Transformation projects and funded R&D initiatives, with a focus on scalable, reliable and reusable AI components.
You will design and build AI and Generative AI solutions from requirements through deployment, developing Python applications, services, backends and APIs around LLMs, RAG and Agentic AI. The position involves integrating AI with databases, APIs, enterprise systems, document repositories and knowledge bases, building and tuning RAG pipelines, designing agentic workflows and multi-agent architectures, orchestrating cloud and on-prem LLMs, and monitoring quality, performance and cost. Requirements include at least two years of software development experience focused on AI or GenAI, strong Python and SQL, hands-on LLM and RAG work with vector databases and embeddings, frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
