About the role
EY is hiring a Senior AI Engineer for its AI+ Factory in Milan. The role focuses on building, integrating and industrialising AI components inside enterprise products, turning architectural specifications and product requirements into robust, scalable and maintainable technical solutions. You will work alongside AI Architects, AI Data Scientists, FullStack Developers, DevOps/MLOps Engineers and Product Managers to deliver AI agents, RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, inference services and AI-based application components.
The position blends hands-on engineering with cross-functional collaboration. Day to day you will implement application logic in Python or TypeScript, integrate AI/ML APIs and cloud AI services, run testing, debugging, profiling and performance tuning, and apply software engineering practices such as code review, versioning, documentation and test automation. You will also support MLOps activities.
