About the role
Gradient is hiring an AI Researcher to study scientific challenges in AI infrastructure, including distributed training, model integrity, incentive design and privacy-preserving intelligence. The role combines original research with prototyping and collaboration with engineers to turn theoretical findings into practical system designs.
The work focuses on learning, distributed inference and trustless collaboration in AI systems, with opportunities to contribute to incentive mechanisms for open networks. Candidates should have a relevant technical background and demonstrated research experience in distributed ML, secure computation, federated learning or incentive systems. Experience with protocols, zero-knowledge proofs or system-level AI optimization is a bonus.
Highlights
- Research distributed ML and AI systems
- Prototype experiments and communicate findings
- Translate theory into practical designs with engineers
