About the role
team.blue is hiring an Analytics Engineer into AI & Data, between Data Management (bronze ingest on Databricks) and Analytics (dashboards and insights). The group runs 60+ hosting and SaaS brands for 3.5 million European customers. The role is fully remote, with Florence as one of the listed hubs, and they will not sponsor visas.
You take raw, half-conformed data and ship trusted datasets: dbt models on Databricks, KPI definitions, semantic/presentation layer, tests, CI/CD, and docs. You onboard new domains (marketing, product usage, care, revenue) with little guidance, then sit between engineers and analysts. Bar is 5+ years, strong dbt, Databricks (or Snowflake/BigQuery), dimensional modeling or data vault, and serious SQL. Python, Looker/Tableau/Power BI are nice-to-haves.
