About the role
Oddin is hiring a Counter-Strike 2 Expert Data Scientist to turn expert knowledge of the competitive scene into stronger prematch and live predictions. The role connects mathematical modeling with practical input from game experts, using premium datasets to assess match, player, and team performance. You will own and improve CS2 prematch models and the library behind them, then have a growth path toward live models.
The work combines Python data science, statistics, mathematics, and machine learning with regular collaboration across technical and game expert teams. You will translate feedback into model features and maintain internal dashboards that make player statistics, team trends, and meta shifts easier to explore. Oddin also expects daily use of AI tools and supports developing practical workflows with them.
