About the role

KPMG Italia is hiring a Data Analyst Intern for its Digital Assurance Team in Milan. You will work alongside experienced auditors, using on-the-job training to critically analyse the business processes behind financial reporting and the data produced by company information systems, spotting anomalies and interpreting the dynamics that drive financial trends.

Day to day, you will develop analytics solutions for audit teams, including transactional analytics, dashboards for accounting data, process mining and process KPIs. You will also help build audit techniques around innovative technology, support audit teams in adopting these solutions, and organise communication events to raise awareness of the project. The internship starts in December 2026 and lasts three months.
