About the role
Plata is hiring a Junior / Junior+ Data Analyst for its Core Banking Systems team, supporting banking products in Mexico and Colombia. The role focuses on ensuring that transactions are correctly reflected in accounting systems, investigating reconciliation discrepancies, and understanding how production transactions move between systems.
You will build dashboards and reports from warehouse data, improve reconciliation processes, and investigate unusual financial cases with System Analysts and other teams. The position starts with specific investigations and offers progression toward more complex problems. Requirements include strong SQL, statistics and probability knowledge, a mathematical or technical degree, and English sufficient to read technical documentation.
