Data Analyst (Payment Performance and Optimization) - fully remote within Europe (m/f/d)

This Payments Data Analyst role sits at the intersection of Product, Operations, Finance, and Risk, owning payments reporting and KPI governance end to end in Power BI. Reporting to the Head of BI, you will maintain and optimize the payments BI infrastructure, standardize KPI definitions across teams, and translate business questions into structured SQL logic and decision-ready dashboards. The position is an experienced individual contributor role for someone who values precision, consistency, and analytical depth.

Day to day, you will lead ad-hoc investigations into authorization drops, decline spikes, PSP comparisons, and recovery performance, while proactively surfacing anomalies, trends, and emerging risks. You will improve documentation of payment data models and partner cross-functionally so reporting reflects operational reality. Close collaboration with the BI team ensures peer review and quality assurance before findings reach.
