Data Analysts - Financial & Payment Controller
About the role
Scalapay is hiring a Data Analyst focused on financial and payment controls in Milan. The role manages the payments and financial data lifecycle from analysis through execution, with responsibility for reconciliation oversight, payment integrity, SLA compliance, risk mitigation, and invoice validation. You will work across finance, internal teams, banks, acquirers, processors, and other external partners.
The position combines operational control with analytical problem solving. You will monitor provider performance, investigate processing errors, manage incidents, refine business and technical requirements, and identify opportunities to streamline workflows. Scalapay describes an international, fast-moving fintech environment with opportunities to work alongside technology leaders and grow through ownership of delivered products. The advertised gross annual salary is EUR 40,000 to 47,000, depending on skills and experience.
