Data Analytics Engineer

Ruby Labs is hiring a Data Analytics Engineer to build and maintain the analytical data layer used across its consumer products. The role turns business requirements into reliable datasets through SQL transformations and dbt models across staging, core and mart layers. The engineer will also develop quality checks, document lineage and business logic, and monitor pipelines and marts to prevent reporting inconsistencies.

The position works closely with data engineers, analysts, product managers and marketing teams. It includes improving source readiness, standardizing schemas and metric definitions, and contributing to modeling frameworks and performance decisions. The core toolkit includes dbt, SQL and cloud warehouses such as BigQuery or ClickHouse; orchestration, Python, semantic layers and observability tools are useful additions. Ruby Labs operates in CET, and applicants may be based in any country within approximately four hours of that time zone. The arrangement.
