About the role
EY is hiring a Data Architect in Milan to own the data architecture end to end. You will define logical and physical schemas, build data lake and lakehouse foundations, and design ingestion pipelines from internal and external sources. The role also covers Data Catalog and Data Lineage tooling such as DataHub and Apache Atlas, with end to end traceability of datasets used in AI models.
Governance sits at the centre of the position. You will apply classification, ownership, access control, retention and deletion policies in line with GDPR and the EU AI Act, and run data quality frameworks covering completeness, accuracy, consistency and timeliness. You will also work with the semantic layer and AI engineering teams, supplying curated datasets, feature stores and golden records for ontologies, embeddings and.
