MSC Cruises is hiring a Data Architect in Naples to define and assure enterprise data architectures across on-premises warehouses and cloud platforms. The role covers architecture from solution definition through approval, while implementation remains with delivery teams. You will work with business and technology stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture, CyberSecurity, Data Governance, engineering teams and partners to align solutions with company strategy, standards and security requirements.
The work includes designing patterns for warehouses, lakes and lakehouses; reviewing data models, products and contracts; and embedding quality, metadata, lineage and governance requirements. The architect also assesses existing platforms for modernization and migration, reviews solution designs, and documents risks, decisions and remediation needs. The position asks for at least eight years of relevant experience, Azure and Databricks expertise, strong SQL and modeling skills, and experience producing architecture documentation. It is.
